Many people find it difficult to pay their electricity bills during the winter months.

Utility costs become so high that the only solution sometimes seems to be lowering the heating temperature, even when it’s cold.
However, there is a simple solution.
With a few household items, you can make a small heater that can warm your room for almost no cost.
To make it, you will need:
-
4 ceramic flower pots of different sizes – 2 small and 2 larger ones (the small ones should easily fit inside the larger ones)
-
2 bolts
-
2 chains
-
Nuts and washers
-
A handle or frame to hang the heater
First, drill holes in the flower pots and their saucers. Pass the chains through the bolts and secure them with nuts. Insert the bolt through the hole of the pot, place a washer underneath, and tighten it with a nut.

Then place the smaller pot inside and fix it again using washers and nuts so that they slightly stick out from the pot.
Next, attach the saucer to the bottom and secure it the same way. Repeat this process with the second set of pots.
Once both are ready, hang them on the handle or frame.
Place a few candles under the saucer, light them — and your heater is ready!

This simple construction allows the ceramic pots to absorb and store heat from the candles and then slowly release it, helping warm the surrounding area.
⚠️ Important Safety Notice
This is only a supplemental heat source. It cannot fully replace a real heating system.
Always follow these rules:
-
Never leave burning candles unattended.
-
Keep the heater away from curtains, furniture, and any flammable materials.
-
Do not use it in poorly ventilated rooms.
-
Keep away from children and pets.
-
Make sure the structure is stable and secure.
